Week of December 6th

Not much to talk about. I'm reading a book called Fly on the wall for a book report. It's been very happy lately.

Train of the week!

The North Coast Limited !  It was operated between Seattle and Chicago by the Northern Pacific railway. From St. Paul to Chicago it operated on the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy railroad. The train also had a section to Portland.

It started in 1900. In 1946 it was streamlined, then in 1954, it got the paint scheme you see in the pics. The original train was discontinued with the start of Amtrak, in 1971.
